چکیده
In this study, Lactobacillus reuteri B2 was isolated from the feces of C57BL/6 mice and assessed on probiotic activity. L. identified by 16S rDNA sequencing, which cell viability in acidic conditions at pH 2.0 64% after 2 h, presents 0.30% bile salts, 6 37%. Antimicrobial assay with showed maximum diameters against Klebsiela oxytoca J7 (12.5 ± 0.71 mm). We further hypothesized if strain free form can survive all gastrointestinal tract (GIT) then utilization appropriate biomaterials would ameliorate its stability GIT. microencapsulated into sodium alginate-(Na-alg) different content Na-alg maleate (SM) beads. Characterization materials enveloped their thermal characteristics (TGA/DTA analysis) structure using: scanning electron microscopy (SEM), FTIR, particle size distribution. The high survival rate low to 4.0 presence concentrations up 0.30%, obtained. strong antimicrobial activity best protection + SM simulated gastric juices (SGJ).

Microencapsulation of a probiotic bacteria with alginate-gelatin and its properties.
Lactobacillus casei ATCC 393-loaded microcapsules based on alginate and gelatin had been prepared by extrusion method and the product could increase the cell numbers of L. casei ATCC 393 to be 10(7) CFU g(-1) in the dry state of microcapsules. The microparticles homogeneously distributed with size of 1.1 ± 0.2 mm. Four kinds of microcapsules (S(1), S(2), S(3) and S(4)) exhibited swelling in sim...
متن کاملIsolation and characterization of a Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain with zearalenone removal ability and its probiotic potential
Zearalenone (ZEN) is a non-steroidal estrogenic mycotoxin produced by Fusarium species, which has been shown to be associated with reproductive disorders in livestock, and to a lesser extent with hyperoestrogenic syndromes in humans. The aim of this study was to characterize a Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain with ZEN removal ability. A pure culture of a strain designated LN isolated from mold...
متن کاملMicroencapsulation of Probiotic Bacteria:
In the recent past, there has been an explosion of probiotic health-based products. Many reports indicated that there is poor survival of probiotic bacteria in these products. Further, the survival of these bacteria in the human gastro-intestinal system is questionable. Providing probiotic living cells with a physical barrier against adverse environmental conditions is therefore an approach cur...
متن کاملMicroencapsulation of Potential Probiotic Lactobacilli by Extrusion Technique
In order to provide health benefits potential probiotic strains must be viable and metabolically active in the product and maintance their activity in gastrointestinal tract (GIT). Therefore, the current investigations are based on protection of probiotics by microencapsulation to increase survival and delivery of bacterial cultures to the GIT. Several reports have shown better survival of enca...
